ORP “Krakowiak” (L 115), a Hunt II-class escort destroyer, served with the Polish Navy from 1941 to 1946, taking part in Operation Anklet, Mediterranean operations, the Sicily landings and the Normandy invasion. After the war, she participated in Operation Deadlight before returning to the Royal Navy as HMS “Silverton”; she was withdrawn from service and scrapped in 1959.
